Skulpturen Symposium Weiertal Winterthur 2011
The enchanting little park of the gallery weiertal is where the “Biennale Skulpturen-Symposium Winterthur” is going to take place in 2011.
The first Skulpturen-Symposium met a lot of positive resonance both by press and public. The manifold and lush area of ca. 5000m2 with a streamlet, ponds, trees and spacious lawns is offering an inspiring environment to exhibit sculptures and installations.
The exhibition will be from May to September 2011.The artists are selected by a jury.
In line with the Symposium will be diverse discussions, guided tours and events.
For the recompense of the transportation of heavy materials donators and sponsors will be quested.
There will also be a catalogue of all the works and artists edited.
Professionally working artists please apply
- with a concrete project which is referred to a place,
- an application form and
- a brief summary of the previous work
- until the 30th of June by the latest. Download
The decision of the jury will be announced in September 2010.
